Founded in 1977 by Jeff Mellander, Precision Graphics began servicing publishers with technical illustrations, charts, and graphs for textbooks. Located just over two hours south of Chicago in Champaign, Illinois, Precision Graphics has built strong customer relationships over the past 25 years with major publishers and corporations on both coasts, and throughout the Midwest.

We boast one of the largest illustration staffs in the Midwest with extensive experience in producing medical, scientific, and technical illustrations. Our designers, layout artists, and producers work with the latest technology in graphics, design, and multimedia production. We pride ourselves on having a staff of professionals who can work directly with the client, avoiding redundant layers of communication.

Our offices are situated in a historic limestone building that once housed sculptors and engravers for granite and marble monuments. Though the tools used in this building have transcended from chisel to mouse, the approach of the craftsperson applying their years of education, training, and experience still remains.
